I'm a DIY'er and it took me about 5.5hrs. All the directions were perfect and easy to follow. The item that consumed most of the time was snaking the harness around the torsion bar in the tailgate. The directions never outline this being an issue. Other than that the directions had the perfect level of detail. Great item and I would definitely recommend to friends.
