This connector is used when making connections to the MBEC junction box located in the drivers side foot well on GM trucks and SUVs.
This adapter is usually needed when making the connection for switched ignition power at the MBEC junction box for your backup camera but there is already a wire in the location you need to tap into. This solves that problem in a 100% factory method. No cutting or tapping. Simply remove the existing wire from the factory connector, insert the wire into this adapter and install the new wire from the connector into the existing factory pin. Finally, insert the connection for your backup camera kit into the second connector and you are done.
