So you have a Chevy Tahoe or GMC Yukon and like the factory camera but don't like the price? Then this unit is for you! Very similar to our factory kit with the same OEM Panasonic camera GM used in their factory fitted backup camera option but with a universal wiring loom. Uses factory-style connectors and harnesses like on the factory kit, but with a RCA plug and blunt cut wires to connect to your aftermarket display.
Limited installation instructions, but includes camera mounting templates and hole templates. Save a bundle and get OEM quality!
This Package Includes the following:
- OEM GM OEM Panasonic camera in special liftgate mount
- OEM GM external (liftgate) 7' wiring harness
- Universal internal wiring harness (20' in length)
- Wireties, screws, captured nuts and anticorosion compound
Notes:
- This is a universal application product for GM SUV's. You cannot use this to retrofit to factory navigation. You must use a third party display.
- If you plan on using this product to replace a factory-installed camera, note that GM uses different manufacturers for their cameras and the connector on your car may or may not match the wiring on your vehicle. Please refer to the picture above to verify against your application.
- This is an involved install that requires a lot of tailgate disassembly, please be mechanically savvy to install this kit. If you are unsure, consider our OEM GM kit.
