This unit was created due to many customer requests. If your GM truck came from the factory with a backup camera but you had to remove your tailgate for some reason (special 5th wheel gate, utility body, camper in the bed, etc.) then this unit is for you!

Just install this unit below your bumper and plug into your existing single factory backup camera connector. DONE! No wires to run, no modifications to factory wiring and best of all, our OEM connector keeps the connection clean and tight like the factory intended.

Note: This product is for trucks with a factory-installed single 6-pin connector. If you have two (dual) connectors, you'll need a different version of this camera with dual receivers.

This product is the best of both worlds. We took our very popular premium camera and stainless metal hitch mount and added a factory backup camera connection.

The performance of our premium camera is fantastic. The performance is slightly better than OEM (due to a glass lens and larger sensor.) However, if you are a stickler for factory parts, we also have our metal bumper mount available with an OEM Panasonic camera. This is the same camera that is in the factory tailgate bezel.

No matter which camera you choose, you'll get to retain the factory backup camera system that your truck came with when you remove your stock tailgate. Package includes:

(Mount will work with or without a factory hitch. If you do not have a factory hitch, just let us know you need the "bolt kit" and we'll be happy to include it for free.)

Custom designed to mount below the bumper on GM Trucks

If you have a factory hitch, the mount slides above the box receiver and uses existing bolts to secure the mount.

• Designed for 2007.5 through 2011 (and some early 2012) GM Trucks.
  
• Made from hefty 0.048" thick epoxy coated 304/SB stainless steel for rust-free installations.
  
• Installation requires the dropping of the factory receiver slightly from frame.
