Gen 6 Navigation Radio "Blackbox" Interface w/ DUAL Camera Input With Instrument Panel Menus for 2007 and newer GM vehicles with Navigation.

This unit provides all functionality of the older GEN5 module but adds the following functions:

• 20 Instrument Panel Menus controlled from steering wheel
• Extra camera input (front cam, baby cam, trailer cam, etc.)
• User upgradable via USB connection to latest software
• Smaller module size
• Improved communication software

If you have factory navigation with your 2007 and newer GM Truck or SUV but didn't get the rear camera option (or couldn't- eg pickup trucks) and you already have a camera that you want to use, then this unit is for you! Adding video input has never been so easy without disassembing the radio. This package utilizes a lockpick "blackbox" interface by CoastalETech that plugs into the back of your radio. Not only do you get a video inputs that can be used for a backup camera, but other functions are available as well. (See Below).

If you need more than two video input or need audio inputs, be sure to checkout the GMX-322 module as it has additional inputs.

• Adds video input (such as backup camera input) ability to factory navigation system. (Note: If vehicle didn't have factory backup camera option, you'll need to have your vehicle programmed at the dealer to turn on the camera input. Detailed instructions on how to do this are located here
• "Plug-in module doesn't require you to open the radio for installation. Instalation is easily reversed. Great for lease vehicles.
• Also adds other handy functions such as:
  
  • Unlock DVD/Aux screen while vehicle is in motion
  • Enter addresses into the navigation system while vehicle is in motion
  • XM Categories are unlocked
